We understand the importance of protecting personal data – and sensitive data in particular – especially when children are involved.

We encourage you to think carefully about how precious this data is – we have! Privacy frameworks like the GDPR are not just box-ticking irritations, but are there to protect you!

Our full statement can be found below, but in general:

  • We ask for your consent before gathering any data, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.

  • We only keep the minimum data necessary & can justify each item requested.

  • We will only keep it for as long as it is needed.

  • We will only use it for the purposes stated - we won’t share it with any 3rd party except to enable us to provide our service.

  • You can ask us for what data we have and ask us to amend or delete it.

  • We’ll keep it secure.

  • For this website, you can enable non-essential cookies which will let us see how people in general use the site. (It would be nice to know if people click around and navigate to the different sections.)

  • We don’t have any creepy Facebook tracking, but we do have Google Analytics enabled including on our Setmore booking page. As part of that we’ve enabled Google Signals which deals in aggregated personal data - the aim is to avoid wasting our limited ads budget by trying to target people most likely interested.

Note that we do use Google Cloud-based services. (e.g. Google Forms, Gmail, Google Sheets). These are GDPR compliant via Standard Contractual Clauses and our actions to keep them secure.

We keep a Mailchimp mailing list to send pre-session emails and session summaries. We also send occasional informational emails to people who explicitly signed up for them. They are also compliant if used correctly.

If you book online, we use Setmore to manage this. Setmore uses your details to keep track of session attendees, including payments, as well as allow you to stay in control of your bookings.

Payments are handled by SquareUp. SquareUp uses your details to enable payment and us to keep tabs on payments. We don’t have Instant Customer Profiles enabled.

We have validated our Legitimate Interest basis & Consent settings via the Information Commissioner’s Office’s online tool.
